Pilato spent previous four seasons with Greenville Triumph SC

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (April 11, 2024) – The Charlotte Independence announced today the signing of midfielder Noah Pilato pending league and federation approval. He brings five years of USL experience to the Jacks.
Pilato made 67 appearances for Greenville Triumph over the past four seasons, notching six goals and four assists. He was a member of the 2020 Triumph squad that won the USL League One Regular Season title and was named to the 2020 USL League One All-League First Team.
In 2019, Pilato signed with Loudoun United FC for the club’s inaugural USL Championship season. He scored his first professional goal on May 11, 2019 against the Charlotte Independence.
Collegiately, Pilato totaled 2,314 minutes in 48 appearances for Penn State University. After being sidelined due to injury as a redshirt junior, Pilato returned as a redshirt senior and appeared in all 17 matches, starting 10. He scored his first collegiate goal to tie the game against the University of Maryland and send the match into overtime.
A native of Oak Hill, Virginia, Pilato grew up playing for the DC United Academy, tallying two goals and six assists in 14 matches in 2013. He also participated in the Olympic Development program for two years.
