Charlotte (NC) — Charlotte Independence, a United Soccer League (USL) professional soccer team, is pleased to announce Jack’s House Soccer Bar and Retail Store (1523 Elizabeth Ave. Suite 120, Charlotte, NC 28204) will be open for all of the key games in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Jack’s House opened this May and has sold through an entire batch of its signature, soccer beer – 1775 Pale Ale, made especially for the Charlotte Independence by NoDa Brewing. Jack’s House will be showing the games on all of its TV screens, with a great selection of beers and wines behind the bar to help lubricate an exciting and competitive atmosphere.
Although the U.S. Men’s National Team did not qualify for the World Cup, the Independence offers an alternative way to be emotionally invested in the competition. The Independence roster is a ‘League of Nations’ with players drawn from a dozen different international countries. Seven of the nationalities represented on the team have qualified for the World Cup; France, Switzerland, Colombia, Mexico, Spain, Uruguay and South Korea. The Independence encourages soccer fans to come down to Jack’s House, and support these countries, and your local professional soccer team.
“Even though the U.S. has not qualified the support for soccer in Charlotte keeps growing every year,” said Jim McPhilliamy, President of the Charlotte Independence. “This event offers fans a chance to see international soccer played at the highest level. It’s perfect opportunity to take an afternoon off, and settle in front of the big screen at Jack’s House with a drink and some friends.”
Jack’s House watch schedule and opening hours for the World Cup can be found at www.jackshouseclt.com. The bar operates from 9:00AM to 5:00PM everyday and as specified at www.jackshouseclt.com.
