Charlotte (NC) — On Friday, the Charlotte Independence, a United Soccer League (USL) professional soccer team, announced Colorado Rapids forward Caleb Calvert has been recalled. The Rapids will face Portland Timber FC this Saturday, September 8th at Providence Park. Kickoff is scheduled for 10:30 PM ET.
During the 2018 USL regular-season, Calvert has logged 13 games played, 11 starts with 985 minutes played. The 21-year-old has one goal and two assists including the game-winning assist to Jorge Herrera against Toronto FC II on March 24th.
