Charlotte (NC) — The Charlotte Independence professional soccer team is excited to announce the club has partnered with Connolly’s on 5th (115 E 5th St, Charlotte, NC 28202) to run a round-trip bus from Uptown Charlotte to the Sportsplex at Matthews for all 17 home games this season.
RECENT NEWS: PRE-GAME TAILGATING OPTION AT SPORTSPLEX
The pre-game event at Connolly’s will begin at approximately 4:30 PM ET each gameday. A ticket to the game or rsvp is not required to ride the bus, which will depart at approximately 5:45 PM ET. The return bus from the Sportsplex at Matthews to Connolly for post-game celebrations will depart approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the match (approximately 9:20 PM ET).
Patrons are not required to take the full, roundtrip ride, meaning riders are allowed to just ride from Connolly’s to the game, or just from the game to Connolly’s. Patrons who ride roundtrip will receive priority seating and additional patrons will be served on a first come, first serve basis.
The first bus will run this Friday, March 15th for the 2019 Season Opening Game as the Independence returns to USL Championship action versus Indy Eleven at the Sportsplex at Matthews.
